BA Fellows

The BA Fellowship is for outstanding college juniors and seniors who want to find out if teaching is their calling.

Launching Fall 2027

It is a two-year program for students drawn to Jewish education, Jewish service, or the idea of teaching, even if they aren’t sure yet.

Fellows study with Marom faculty, learn from some of the best Jewish educators in the country, and begin to see what a life in the classroom could look like.

The Courses

Fellows take four Marom courses over their junior and senior years, worth 12 to 15 credits. Those credits can count toward both their bachelor’s degree and a future Marom MA.

Mentorship and Retreats

Alongside coursework, Fellows join leadership retreats and summer programs. Each Fellow is paired with a mentor drawn from among the best Jewish educators in the country.

The Path Forward

Fellows who choose to continue receive an accelerated path into the Marom Fellowship in Miami and Marom’s other MA programs.

Who Should Apply

The BA Fellowship is open to students entering their junior year of college who have strong academic records, real intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to Jewish life. No background in education is required.
